My parents are visiting me for 3 months in Canada on a visitor visa. They are responsible for their own finances.
I have two questions:
- Are they required to show proof of funds to the immigration officer as well when they land such as cash, cheque etc?
- What is the best way to carry proof of funds for them. I am advising them on combination of cash + card.
How about demand draft or traveler cheque in CAD ? Can these be deposited in my bank account in Canada
Will really appreciate experiences, suggestions. Really confused .
