Best way for girlfriend to come to Canada

Hi,

I just got back from study abroad and met my girlfriend there, been dating about 8 months now, 2 of long distance. She's a 22 year old New Zealand girl, and she has work experience as office support (so I don't think she would qualify for the specialized work visas).

I believe she qualifies for the working holiday (the forum won't let me supply the link to the website, but I'm sure everyone is familliar with that visa).

However, we have plans to go to Europe about 6 months after she arrives so that would waste 6 months of the working holiday visa, then if we decide to come to Canada sometime in the future things might be complicated and we might not be able to come here.

What other options do we have? What's the best way to go about this to keep our future options open?

Thanks for any help! :)

If you haven't already, check out the "official" thread:

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/spousal-sponsorship-t46995.0.html

You'll probably get a lot better help/ideas in the Family Class Sponsorship section :) They should have a thread dedicated to NZ applicants there too which will give you a LOT of NZ advice.

I don't know if NZ is visa exempt or not (I would assume not) and what the conditions for a holiday working visa are there. (We don't have any such thing in the USA/Canada so that might explain my stupidity here.) If you can tell me about that, I can try to help.... or you can run away from noob me and ask the people that can actually help in Family class :D
