Can any one help me with good places to stay in Edmonton?? Ready to hire a place till 1000 CAD,but not more than that

Will prefer Indian Community around but not compulsory

Have a pre-primary kid,so would prefer School near by.

Good to know that another fellow Indian is coming to Edmonton, I think you'll love the city! I think you should use kijiji.ca to look for apartments in your price range in the SW/SE part of Edmonton. The Millwoods area in the south is lively and vibrant and has lot of Indians. I would avoid the north and downtown areas! There is a lot of immigration happening in Edmonton because the oil boom, and the community is extremely welcoming and school system is fantastic. Other than the odd DUI / car break in, there is not much crime in South West + South East Edmonton. When it comes to renting an apartment, prices in the city are much better here than in Calgary or other similar sized cities in Canada - just make to factor in the cost of heat since winters in Edmonton are cold!

Hello Harshad,
When are you moving to Toronto? Did you attend the CIIP seminar in A'bad? I am asking this because there was some one same name as yours. I am also moving to Toronto.
