Best options to exchange USD -> CAD

Hi,
I've read that the bank rates are disadvantageous and people recommend to use exchanges to buy CAD for USD. I know there's for example uexchange.ca which offers some good rates. But I was wondering whether there's an online service to find the best exchange store based on rate and location. Or is it just "a great idea for a startup"?

The initial question was about exchanging (not transferring) money. Implying I have some USD cash and want to get CAD cash. As for the transfers, I have no problem transferring USD from Russian bank to as USD account at a Canadian bank. I just don't want to exchange money at a Canadian bank
