My wife just landed as a PR in ON.
Just yesterday we found out that she is 3 weeks pregnant.

I want her to see a doctor, but since we do not have OHIP yet (you need to wait 3 months to apply for OHIP) - I am looking to buy some insurance for her that would cover these visits to doctor.

Can someone suggest any insurance plan at good rates which will serve the purpose in our case.

CHeers,
Adi

Unfortunately most insurance plans do not cover any costs related to pregnancy since this is classified as a pre-existing condition. Any plan that does cover pregnancy related costs is going to be very expensive. You're likely better off paying for your wife's medical care yourself until she qualified for OHIP.
