I'm a PGDM holder (which is equivalent to MBA in India, but not equivalent to a Canadian MBA obviously), and so I can apply for post graduate course(1 or 2 years) in Canada. Centennial college is 1 of the most reputed and oldest college in Ontario. Well, regarding difficult or easy, it's hard to tell bcoz I too have never studied in a Canadian college and hence its difficult to say accurately. However, when it comes to GPA(out of 4.0) in most North American colleges and which was same in my PGDM course(here in India) too, let me tell you, GPA is not easy like regular percentage where easily somehow, we get 40-50% and move on.. NO GPA is competing with all classmates and grades will be different where just passing will be minimum 50% and the grade you receive will depend on whether your classmates have done better or worse than you. For example; Even if you score 80% and all your classmates are in 90% range, then despite getting 80% ,you will receive a very low grade/GPA cos most classmates have done better than you. That's how it works and its not at all easy to score high GPA's but it's not very tough either as regular study one can achieve decent GPA.P.S said:thx. buddy,i m trying for IBM in centennial college.Tell me one thing also- is that gpa requirements are difficult to get or v can pass that test easily???
n i hope you know this thing that they charge approx 4,000 CAD$ extra if you want to take internship with your course.Anyways, what is your qualification???
You are welcome buddy. So, you are going in MAY or SEPT 2012 intake?P.S said:Thx for such a good reply tiger007.
I have completed my masters as well so we are in the same category i thinkn i m trying for may intake.Whts on your side men?
Anyways,i want to share one thing also-actually,i called in centennial college n the lady said that they charged extra 4000cad $ for the internship. The same thing is mentioned in my offer letter as well.On the other side as u said, only 350$ are mentioned in the column of international fees on their website.I don't know what to do on this matter ???
Ya, it means it's up-to you if You can save that much money or not! That's the only logical reason for the college mentioning a lower co-op fees on website and a significant higher on acceptance letter being send to students.P.S said:u mean it's in my hands to save this 4k cad$ right?
Anyways men,m trying for may intake. What about you? (intake, course n all?)

Hi Enfield,enfield said:Hi,
1. As you are already a PG Business graduate, may be you should think about MBA in Canada or 1 year 'Graduate Diploma in Business Administration' from the John Molson School of Business, Concordia University. It's a top ranking business school of Canada.
www.
1. Read once again. International students are eligible to apply for GDBA (Not GCBA).tiger007 said:And regarding 'Graduate Diploma in Business Administration' from the John Molson School of Business, Concordia University, as I said, I checked all possibilities for me in a Canadian university and unfortunately for this programme international students are not accepted![http://johnmolson.concordia.ca/en/graduate-programs/graduate-diploma-administration/program-overview]
Thanks for listing . But as I said, I did check nearly ALL universities and indeed these universities before, all of them require minimum B average that's 70% marks average in last two years of study/graduation. and I don't have that much. Admission criteria to Canadian universities are really high!enfield said:1. Read once again. International students are eligible to apply for GDBA (Not GCBA).
2. Check Brock University, Ontario, MBA (Only International program), No GMAT.
3. Check Vancouver Island University, British Columbia, MBA (18 Month program/4 months paid internship/3 years PGWP), No GMAT.
