Hi.
Scenario:
  • I was hired under my NOC B job in February 06/2018 as part timer (was still student). In May 15/2018 I applied for my PGWP and started to work full time hours since that day (can prove it with Pay Stubs) and I was officially promoted to Full time in May 28/2018.
  • I'm in the EE pool since February 27/2019, with a score of 452 points.
  • I'm applying under the CEC.
All that said, the question is:
  • Assuming that I receive an ITA in May 15/2019, what are the chances of be approved, if I add a letter explaining all the details to the Official?
  • Or Should I wait and only apply after May 28/2019?
Thank you so much!

1. You can count your work experience from the date you applied for your PGWP.

2. Regardless of how your employer classifies you, IRCC will consider you "full time" if you work 30 or more hours per week.

For some reason, it is common in Canada to use the terms "full time" and "permanent" employment interchangably, even though they mean completely different things. Extend the challenge to what "full time" might mean for foreign employment and, well, you can see why IRCC imposes its own definition...

Perfect. So, if I receive a new ITA (I have received and declined 2 so far) in May 15/2019, I'll accept and send a detailed letter and pay stubs to support that in May 15/2018 I was already working full time hours, which is completely true, by the way. Once again, thank you.

@jes_ON I'd love if you could kindly comment about my last comment (deciding to apply based on the May 15th date). I'm not wrong, right? In theory, it could work? This is the only "iffy" about my application and I'd like to clearly know your opinion. Tks.

Your employer's letter of reference has to indicate the hours worked per week. If you had a part time period, and a full time period, they should both be listed in the employer's letter.

Not sure what is "iffy". Your ITA cannot be before May 15, but on or after is OK.
