I would really like to become a police officer in Canada. I'm wondering if I got good qualifications related to plumbing, worked for a year to gain experience plumbing and also got my high school qualifications in the UK (GCSEs) then 3 A-Levels, would I be allowed to migrate to Canada?

I want to work as a plumber for 3 years and after that apply for citizenship then become a police officer.

Any help/questions is welcome, I'd really appreciate a response. I have no qualifications now (I'm 19, having to leave school due to family problems) but now I'm determined more than ever to get into Canada and become a P.O.

Since you are from UK I can answer this because I'm an expert in this. Most police agencies will let you apply for PO with a landed immigrant status (RCMP will not). Each police agency will set their own educational requirements, most will want some college at least, you can check them out online. What you need to do is figure out a way to become a landed immigrant and then check police agencies websites and will let you know the requirements.
Good luck.
