Becoming a citizenship/getting a passport with fixed name

Hey guys

I apologize if this is the wrong forum for this and for the weird title. I am about to be a Canadian Citizen soon and am about to apply for a passport soon after. Currently, I am an Indian Citizenship. Let's say my first name is 'ABC' and last name is 'DEF'. My Indian passport had an error on it as my name was stated as 'ABC DEF' under the given name.

As per the rules, I applied for the Canadian Citizenship with the name as 'ABC DEF' under last name.

So when I receive my citizenship, will I be registered in the database as 'ABC DEF' as my last name and no given name or do I have a say in that?

Also, what about my new passport? Will that be in the same way?

My driver's license states my name as 'ABC' as given name and 'DEF' as my last name. I'm guessing I won't be able to use that as a ID for my passport application.

Thanks for your help

The citizenship certificate states your name twice:
Front page will show the name as "ABC DEF"
On the reverse, it is supposed to show as:
Surname: "DEF"
Give name(s): "ABC"

When they handover the citizenship certificate, they ask you to check it. Wait till you see it, then you can get it changed to a format you wish.
I advise you to take your health card, driver's license, and birth certificate to support your claim...

Thanks, I'll definitely do that.. If they don't agree to do that, do you think I use my driver's license for my passport application?
