Does anyone has the same issue?
I submitted my application in December 2016 as score 86 and I got invited. Because of unexpected circumstances, I had to decline and submit it again. Ever since they updated their system on Feb. 15th, the system has been displaying score 76 on both my new and old applications. It means I'm missing 10 points. My old application now displays 76 instead of 86.
I just found out the issue why I'm missing 10 points. I tried to change the NOC numbers on my application to figure out where is missing the 10 points. It turned out that all occupations in NOC B are missing the 10 points on "Top 100 occupations in BC LMO 2014-2024". I tried different NOC numbers in A, B and C levels, and it turned out that A and C are working perfectly fine since the scores match exactly what they should be. However, whatever the NOC B number I entered, there were no score changes at all, even if I tried both listed and unlisted numbers on the Top 100 occupation list.
There were total 5 NOC B numbers I've tried, 4 of them are listed and 1 is not. The 4 listed were 1221 (Administrative Officer), 1224 (Property Administrator), 2281 (Computer Network Technicians) and 5241 (Graphic Designer and illustrator); the 1 unlisted was 4216 (Other Instructor). All occupations in NOC B posted the same score on my dashboard on BCPNP online website. Based on the test I've done, I think there might have a system glitch on the score calculation under the "Top 100 occupations in BC LMO 2014-2024".
Feel free to try it out if you haven't submitted your application. Please reply if there's something wrong with my logic! Thanks a lot!
