BCPNP for Pharmacy Tech/Pharmacist

Hi,

I have 4YR undergraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Science from the US along with 2YR worth of post graduate course credit. Now, I guess as per those qualifications I would be able to apply for PNP as a Pharmacy Tech. I was wondering if folks on this forum can shed some light as to how I can go about it and make sure I am completely eligible.

Have you read through the BC PNP streams to see which one you are eligible for? All the information is there.

Yeah I have read through the stream options and I am eligible for the Healthcare stream which covers Pharmacists & Pharmacy Technician. I just wasn't sure how to go about applying and whether one needs a job offer to qualify for PNP

Then you know that the first requirement is a job offer. In Canada, pharmacy tech is a 2 year college diploma. So are you a pharmacist? You would need to be licensed and assessed through PEBC. The healthcare stream is for doctors, nurses, midwives etc.

Eligibility
To qualify for this stream, you must:
  • have accepted a full-time, indeterminate job offer (the job offer must not be temporary or have a defined end date) from a B.C. employer. The job must be in a skilled occupation (NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3)
  • be qualified to perform the duties of the job
