Guys,

If my understanding is correct then one can apply for BC PNP when they are working for a BC employer. The BC PNP time frame is pretty quick and we have seen the cases where people get their BC provincial nomination in a month. After that you apply for permanent residency, which has different time line inside and outside of Canada.

Now my question is what are those time lines ? I went to this site :http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/canada/process-in.asp#perm_res
but i could not make sense as to how long it is taking for someone who has got nominee certificate inside Canada to get the PR.

For outside the Canada, this link explains it pretty well: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/04-provincial.asp

Another question is can someone apply outside Canada for PR (after getting provincial nominee certificate) when they are actually living inside Canada. (Does not make sense legally but you never know, so just asking)

In other words, it seems that AINP (according to today's email) is going to drag out way to long, Getting a job in BC is getting more realistic with every passing day (as more jobs are getting posted). What is the path of getting to PR while working for a BC employer.

When can you leave the employer and really enjoy benefits of PR.

I know its an long email but hopefully people will find time to answer it.

Thanks,

Leon

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
After you get the selection certificate, you will apply for PR according to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-how.asp#step4 That means you will submit your application to the visa office responsible for your homeland or the country you are living in so the times you found are correct. None of these applications are processed in Canada. If your homeland is taking a long time, you can also apply to Buffalo since that is the visa office responsible for Canada where you would be living.

When you apply for PR as an employee, you normally have to stay with the employer until your PR processing is fully completed.
