BC PNP Tech Pilot - RECRUITMENT EFFORT ?

Hey guys What about the RECRUITMENT EFFORT is it mandatory or not ?

in the Job Offer Form - Section 4 - Recruitment Summary
- Has Acrive recruitment taken place in Canada for this position ?
My employer answered NO

Will this be a problem ??
I'm currently working for him with an open work permit !
Please Help !!

in the BC PNP Program Manual (pag 51) it says

5) meet domestic labour market recruitment requirements

Your employer must demonstrate that genuine and bona fide efforts were made to recruit from the local labour market, and that hiring you will not adversely affect employment or development opportunities for local candidates (Canadian citizens and/or permanent residents).

Subject to verification, the BC PNP may consider this requirement to be met if:

• you have a valid work permit and/or employment authorization and are currently working fulltime (at least an average of 30 hours per week, year-round) for the supporting B.C. employer in the occupation identified in the job offer. Please note that if you are currently working fulltime for the supporting employer on a co-op work permit or a study permit, this requirement will only be considered met if you have completed your program of study

OR

• your employer can provide evidence of a genuine and bona fide effort to recruit from the domestic labour market and is able to demonstrate the results of these recruitment efforts, such as advertisements based on the following minimum requirements:

Hi Guys, I am really interested in submitting a BC PNP profile which I believe easily I can get at least 130, but my concern when I got invited is one of the requirements for Employer that is " Evidence of recruitment efforts (if applicable).

At the moment my employer already applied for a work permit and currently under process. LMIA Exempt -International Mobility Program (IMP): Canadian interests - Reciprocal employment, so I wonder if I still needed to post or submit recruitment efforts?

Looking for any advice.

If you are not currently working for the employer who is sponsoring your application, the employer must demonstrate recruitment efforts.

Hi there! I am having the same issue with recruitment summary. I working on open work permit and my employer answered also No. Is that okay? Do they need to fill up the succeeding boxes of Describe the recruitment activities, etc
