BC PNP Skilled Worker Experience!!!!

Hello,

From the first glance, Skilled worker category looks really similar to International Graduate with the exception of experience. What exactly is this experience? For example, If I have one year related experience, can I apply under this category?

I'm not sure what exactly you're asking, but under Skilled worker, you need a job offer from an eligible BC company + 1 year of experience in that job. Under international Graduate, you need to have graduated from a Canadian (not sure if just BC or nationwide) university under the Graduate level of study + a job offer from an eligible BC company.

Thanks for the response. I was asking how many years are considered "several" ?. The website did not give an exact number.

It really depends, there's no hard rule as to what is considered several years experience with regard to your occupation for BC PNP. A couple of years would be a guideline but that does not mean you will be rejected if you don't have 2 or so years worth of experience.
If you're employer can give compelling reasons why they want to keep you then in all likely hood BC PNP would approve your application

I hope that is the case. There is no mandatory requirement for the years of experience. So it's very hard to assess the application beforehand. I'm just afraid that one officer may consider 3 years as minimum experience requirement,and likely he/she will reject the application based on experience requirement.
