Hi there. I live in Vancouver. Make a minimum wage in hospitality. Anway, I was sick in august for a while, missed a week so didn't get my full salary. Will that be a problem? I got paid a lot less that month. Anyway, making a minimum wage in Vancouver is still enough to get pnp, right?
Are they really strict about it or do they look at other factors, too? For me, I am fluent in English etc...as far as establishing myself, I should have no trouble.

As far they are concerned they want to see that you are above that LICO. apart from that one week sick leave and deduction from your pay won't have any effect. And remember to keep all your doctor slip or prescription that doctor advice you. Just in case, to be on safe side.

Just want to ask if lico will be base on current salary or in the salary stated in lmo? Thanks

your salary must be same as on the lmo or more than that. It can not less than rate of pay written on lmo..

Im not on LMO. Im on working holiday. Given that my salary will be less than LICO because I missed some days, I sure hope it won't be a problem. I am single anyway so hopefully it all ends up fine.

yes bro it will be all good... the lmo answer was for another guy who wrote second comment

thanks param... Yes it was never less than what is in the lmo.. Just want to know if lico will be based on the salary stated in the job offer or in the previous lmo...

salary will be calculated as what ever pay you will write in job offer form and job offer letter...not on what is mentioned on lmo... but they will see lmo per hour pay as well to see if its lower or higher than that..

Hope that helps
