BC PNP - Risk swapping Paper for EE?

Hello everyone!
Hope you're all well, wherever you are.

I wanted steal a few of your minutes and pick your brains and get some opinions on how I should proceed with my BCPNP application ...

Currently, my situation is:
  • I'm an Englishman nominated under the BCPNP Tech program (NOC 2175).
  • My paper PR application has been received and should be processed by May 2020.
  • Unfortunately, being a start-up I, along with 15 others, have lost the job I was nominated under, 4ish months into the permit
    (closed WP expires mid-2020).

Now, what's going on?
  • Thankfully, I have amassed 12 months work total
(8 months under a previous IEC visa)
  • Meaning, I qualify for EE with a low 313 points
(Validated with creation of a second CIC account)
  • After 4 months looking, I've a new tech job offer on the table
    (Same NOC code).

Ahhh, but however:
  • Due to a busy BCPNP, to get a new Work Permit Support Letter to change my work permit can take up to 3 months
[making the scheme to expedite work permits for tech workers redundant]
  • And, I'm worried the new employer won't wait that long and "undo" the offer.
Which is fine as the job is a means-to-an-end and not something I'm going to enjoy doing long term - in fact, I'd rather not have to do the job.

So, my apparent options:
  1. Do nothing:
Continue as normal with the paper process BCPNP? Even though I may not have this job, but maybe another one will turn up? Risk that I won't qualify for nomination when it comes to crunch time

  2. Be a bit naughty:
Run 2 BCPNPs at the same time of Paper and EE, using 2 accounts.

  3. Go all in:
Withdraw from the paper process and go "all in" for the BCPNP EE.
Meaning, not getting a work permit for the new job, or do the job itself? This correct?

  4. Other:
Is there something I've missed? Like, give up? :)

A few considerations:
  • I'm more concerned with my time than money, so paying double for applications, isn't too much of a problem.

Really appreciate your time, replies, opinions and advice in advance!
