Hi All,

Quick question. I'm planning on going through the BC PNP (International Graduate) stream. This was my first job out of college so I went into sales (NOC C) but my employer is helping me with the letter (clear path of progression etc). I chose this because I didn't want to do a "skilled" job (office manger etc) just for the sake of PR. I had a bunch of family stuff to deal with so Im only starting to work full time now - my PGWP expires July 2019.

So: After being nominated through the province and applying for PR through the Canadian Gov't, am I allowed to change jobs? I see that processing times are 16 months?

Hey there,

I am a BC PNP SI applicant who applied for the PR.

I was also hoping to get an answer to the question raised above.

If I have an open work permit, and switched jobs will that affect my PR application.

In my nomination it said " No restriction on Employment "
