Hi all,

Regarding my BC PNP application.

I'm curious on when I'm getting my PPR request.

Application received by Sydney, Nova Scotia for PR on April 11, 2013.

Medical Results received sometime in June 2013 in the second line

Sometime in August 2013, they asked me to submit a Police certificate from my country of birth Jamaica.
They received my Police Certificate sometime in September

Then on my Ecas, it says: "We started processing your application on September 12, 2013

Then my "Medical results received" moved from the second line to the third line.

The processing time in Ottawa for PNP application is about 16 months. Did this take effect when they initially received my application on April 11, 2013, or when they started to process it on September 12, 2013?

As a matter of fact, I got an RPRF email from Ottawa stating "your file has been transferred to the Case pilot Process Ofccie for further review" and some other line about if I haven't paid my RPRF fee I should pay it.

Based on my Ecas, do you think I'll be receiving a PPR soon?

Thanks, guys and all the best to those who are going through a similar ordeal. :)

Hi whizlon,

Is there any update on your case?

I also applied under BC PNP. My case was forwarded to CPP-Ottawa on Feb 11 but my ecas still doesn't say "In Processing". I am wondering how long CPP-Ottawa is taking to process cases.

Thanks!

Hi,

long story short; I got my PR within one year of applying! I couldn't beleive it.
Here's my estimate time line.

I got nominated sometime in MARCH.

We received your application for permanent residence on April 11, 2013.

We started processing your application on September 12, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

You entered Canada at the POE Huntingdon office on February 7, 2014 and became a Permanent Resident.

Mind you, I had some delays in between. For example, waiting a month to get my criminal record check done and medicals. Nonetheless, I was surprised and exciting that I got PR within the first year of starting the process. I applied within Canada.

All the best on your application.
