Hi all
I am currently in the process of trying to help one of my employees gain permanent residency through the BC PNP route.
She is currently here on a 1 year working holiday visa. She is working in the food service industry so we are going to be applying under the semi skilled category
Points wise she will be at the lower end of the scale due to job, wage etc so we are trying to work out if there are anyways other than the language score to improve her points score.
Main question involves the potential bonus points for working for us in BC for a year. Would she be able to qualify for these at the end of her visa here? I.e would they count her as having worked a year despite there being I think 5 days after she first arrived in Canada that she started working with us?
If so she would obviously have to leave Canada and go home at that point or apply to stay as a visitor whilst we wait. Would this mean she would have to change her answer to are you currently working for your BC employer? In which case would cancel out those bonus 1 year points right?
Her score is looking like it's going to be between 54 & 60. Likelihood of getting an invite is going to be pretty low right?
Please any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
