Hi there,
We applied for the BC PNP in December 10th 2014 and we received our receipt that they have it, and then nothing! its now end of June and we've not heard anything at all. Which is resulting in us having to go back to the UK as our current work permits have expired. We're leaving good jobs and even having to sell everything and ship our dogs home too. Nightmare. I know a lot of us are in the same situation. I just wanted to get a convo going to see if anyone has heard anything else who applied around the same time??

Thanks for reading! i hope we all get our stuff soon!

The waiting time, last I heard, was 10-13 months. My friend who applied in Sept 2014 still has not heard anything but hopes to before the end of this summer.

So December 2014, I would add another 3 months. I don't think you should expect to hear anything before the end of the year at least.

That is not to mean there is something wrong with the application, the PNP stage is usually quiet. I wasn't called until the very end and only to request a pay stub and conduct a short phone interview. That was BC PNP back in Dec 2013, a week after that phone call they informed me that I was nominated. Took another week or two to get to me as it was Christmas holidays.

Hi all

I applied for BC PNP and got my Acknowledgement Of Receipt on 29 Dec 2014. We are still waiting to hear from them with regards to being approved or not. Expecting to hear from them around Dec'14-Feb'15. As per Welcomebc.com the new processing times for applications submitted Sept-Dec '15 is now 12-14 months. Damn. I have a full time job offer, and my line of work is in a highlighted skills shortage area, NOC B 2244, but it doesn't look like that made any difference lol.

Hope we all get there soon

Keep updating please.

Hello

I applied on August 11 last year with FN around 5500. It's been almost a year since the day that I submitted my application. And I have not heard anything from pnp office. This is just UNACCEPTABLE. When I applied the pnp, the waiting time was 5-6 months. Then, it gets extended every 2 months. Finally, I was fed up with the long endless waiting, and I switched to EE PNP. The processing time before I switched was 8 weeks. I was kinda happy about that. However, right after I switched, the processing time for EE pnp was extended to 3-4 months!!!!!!!!

I have lost faith on any kind of BC PNPs. Those pnp officers are terrible liars. They are unprofessional and incompetent.

I give them 2 more months. If things dont change, I will head home gracefully.

I got this reply from the BCPNP after I asked if the fact that my job offer is in a highlighted skills shortage industry makes a difference as in the past.

"At this time, we are not currently prioritizing according to specific sectors".

I guess the BC EE PNP people are getting all the attention.

This is depressing, patience is something you learn when you're a PNP applicant, anywhere.
