Hi

I am an international Graduate in a 2 years program in Tourism from Ontario and presently on a 3 year open work permit. I was lucky enough to get a Job in Skill Level B with one of BC's Logistics companies (even without a previous job experience) and without an LMIA as I have an open work Permit. I am planning to apply for BC PNP under International graduate and as an Administrative Assistant (1221) role for the same company. As this role is skill level B and most of these have employment Requirement listed as having a previous experience in the job. But unfortunately I dont have an experience but was able to get a job. So my question is:

1. Will this be an issue for the PNP officer that my NOC code requires an experience but I don't have one ?

2. Does my employer need to file an LMIA even when I have a valid work permit till 2017 ?

3. The requirement is to have an indeterminate offer of employment, and that is the case for my present employer as he has not given me and end date. Will that be enough ?

4. The JOB offer form section 4 Recruitment summary has typical questions that are required for a LMIA process, but in my case there is none. How should these be handled.

Thanks

1. In BBCPNP IG stream, they are bit lenient with NOC experience and wages requirements.

2.No LMIA required. Bcpnp is good enough.
But if you want to go for express entry, you need to have 1 year work experience or LMIA.

3. Indeterminate means no end date. Your job iffer is good if full time and permanent.

4. Your employer needs to show how he came to know about you and why he hired you. That mmeans advertising efforts plus reason why he rejected pr/ccanadians.

Thanks

Hey there! I am exactly in the same situation on an open work permit and doing the PNP International graduate, do we need to fill out the recruitment efforts section? or just put N/A in there?

Thanks!
