Hi all,

I'm a UK citizen and my wife is Filipino. I'm currently in Canada completing my BC PNP application for Permanent Residence with a prospective employer. I'm on a default 6 month tourist visa staying with friends. I included my wife in my application and she's currently in the Philippines.

I guess in theory, once I've got the Permanent Residence I leave Canada via the US boarder and then come straight back in. I then send her any relevant paper work and she just flies over.

My questions are;

Given how difficult it is for Filipinos to leave their own country, is it that easy for her to just show up as a Filipino?
Is there anything in addition that she'd need to do?
Would it be better for me to fly back to the Philippines and then both of us come over together?

If anyone has any similar experience I'd love to hear how it went for you. Thanks a million for reading.
:)
