Hi,
I am considering enrolling for University of British Columbia's Masters in Data Science program as a path way to get BC PNP nomination. I have some queries and concerns (assuming that I will be admitted to the program). Firstly when I calculate my score in the SIRS system, I get a score of about 97 points (after taking into accout the points for canadian masters). The points required or a guaranteed PNP is 105 for SI IPG stream. The SIRS has points for canadian work experience (1 year or more), but it is also specifically mentioned that for IPG alone no work experience is required. So my query is that for BC PNP under SI IPG, how is the gap in points awarded for work experience compensated for SI IPGs? Or is it better to aply after completing one year of PGWP work? In this latter case can one get an extension of the PGWP in order to be able to apply for PR?
thanks
