What if your employer does not meet the number of full time employees? My employer is a sole proprietor and since his business is not that big yet, he cannot get 3 (minimum requirement in BC PNP for those not in Metro Vancouver) full time employees yet.

He does want to sponsor me but that is the only hindrance. Is this still possible? Has anybody experience this situation? Please share. Thank you.

Okay so I don't know how it works in Canada in detail, but this is a red flag for most immigration officers. If you go ahead with this application, you can expect increased scrutiny even if you are completely legit, because to an officer it could mean that you're trying to cheat the system. I would recommend finding another position elsewhere or exploring alternatives.

I emailed the BC Ministry customer service and got an advise that I can still continue to apply, but I need to include a letter explaining on my situation. They also accept exemptions if it is a good one. I do not plan to cheat the system and I intend to come clean about the employer situation. The store is an asian variety store and is the only one in the city of it's kind. So I guess I can put that in my letter.
