BC PNP Acknowledgement of Receipt‏ e-mail received on Dec 21st, 2009.

A BC pnp file number is given : SO-00-0000. Base on the e-mail, current process time is between 10-12 weeks and I cannot contact my program advisor during this time. Now is the 15th weeks since I got that AOR e-mail, there's no phone call and e-mail update form pnp office yet. I am confident that pnp office had all my documents for the case, they won't need to call my empolyer or me for additional papers.

Should I call the pnp office to find out what happen to my case? If I do call, will that affect my nomination? Is there anyone applied bc pnp in dec last year got nominated already?

You can call or send them an e-mail, this does not interfere wit your nomination at all, after all it`s past the quoted timeline

We both re in same shoe I actually thought I have Been forgotten not on till I found your post. Now I know I am not alone.I received my S.O file 5 of jenuary stating my confirmation and time limit the process will take.today will be my 14 th weeks and three days wihout hearing any result of what was the factor of the delay.I had to call the BC pnp office and the lady on phone said because during the period they received my application they also got alot of more application than expected so this create alot of burden on the staff s in charge since I hv my s.o file they will definately get bact to my any time soon.maybe they need to update their website state that due to the rush of application,it now takes longer than expected for the process or employ more staff for the position

The problem appears to be that because Service Canada is making it harder and harder to get approved LMO's, that Companies are now taking the PNP route instead.

Although I cannot confirm this as fact, the amount of time people have had to wait for PNP approval since the start of 2010 has increased and I believe this is because there has been greater applications than in previous years and they are backlogged.

Probably people more expert than me will disagree but I am inclined to see a pattern here.
