My husband just got a job offer from an IT company in Vancouver B.C. and the employer promised to apply for BC PNP for him. (We are currently outside Canada). The employer promised him to go through the BC PNP application. He's been waiting for updates from their legal council for 1 whole month, but the only documents the employer and its legal council asked from him was his degree certificates, full CV and passport ID page... It seems the employer still hasn't submitted the application... Does the preparation have to take this long? Is it normal?? We are worried if they still want him to work for them or not... The thing is that my husband has been working for them remote and part-time without pay... We don't know what to do now.
Another question is, if they employer submits the application, could we track the application progress with BC office by ourselves? Since the employer is so inefficient, we really want to keep track of the process by ourselves... Please help...! Thank you so much!
