Hello. I'm a PR living in BC for 9 years now, I have MSP like anyone else.

Recently, my 2-years-old child born outside Canada, traveled with her mother (a PR, she gave birth outside Canada) to BC to live with me and became a landed immigrant. My child currently has a COPR.

I'm trying to enrol her in MSP but the form rejects my application because she is younger than 16 years old. How do I get her coverage then? Do I just fill a request online to change my account and add a child there and that's it, do I just sit and wait... 3 weeks? Or do I need to bring her to a ICBC office?

I was thinking of booking an ICBC appointment to ask for guidance but the online form doesn't seem to allow that reason of visit. I've googled for hours and there are no clear instructions on what to do.
