Hi,
I was banned by my university from my entire program for 365 days, the reason was I did not maintain required level of GPA. In email the university had mentioned this may impact my visa.
I was banned prior to landing in Canada in spite of ban I have landed in Canada and also legally worked for 2 months in Canada (by providing my SIN # to my employer and have collected pay cheque)
Till date I haven't taken admission in any university and now not sure what to do and how will this impact me and my visa status.
I am living with my relative in Canada and did not notified them about all this. Recently I have notified them about this and now they are really worried as they have accommodated me as I have landed after being banned (they didn't knew I was banned and landed after I was banned as I didn't tell them until recently)
will this affect my relatives in any way?
Please advise how will this affect me and my future.

your status does not affect your relatives whatsoever.

It will affect your study permit as you are not longer a Student so you don’t meet the requeriments. You need to stop working as you are not longer a student (assuming you were working the allowed part time). I’m guessing you will need to change your status in Canada, or something else.

lets see what other people say. Or try contacting IRCC

Thanks for your reply.

But am I not considered illegal in Canada as I landed after being banned ( I travelled in the way IRCC has not authorized me to travel)?

If you could inform Border official at the time you were landed, they would refused entry. They allowed based on the information they had at that time and you refused to declare. The fact that you were banned, and continue working for 2 months makes your situation complicated, simply put you worked illegal. What will happen is, when your DLI send compliance report to IRCC, they will cancel your Study permit and inform CBSA. Depending on the information available, they may issue departure order against you. Good to start with worst case scenerio

Why did you land after being banned? And you even started working il despite no longer fulfilling the requirement of a full time student. Seems to me like you intentionally violated the conditions of your permit. Not sure how you can rectify this but my advice to you would to voluntary leave Canada before IRCC discovered what you've done.

Can I change my university (means take admission in another uni.)

and if I take admission in another Uni. and after taking admission if the DLI in which I 1st took admission sends compliance report to IRCC stating that I have been banned for 365 days what consequences can I face?

The fact that you did not inform CBSA on arrival, you're already committed immigration fraud.

Your consequences may be that you'll get a removal order and/or banned from entering Canada for 5 years.

Most likely no effect on your relative. But best to leave their residence in order not to get them into any trouble if the authorities comes looking for you.

Immigration authorities will not come knocking and kicking your relatives door and drag you out of that place.

Your relatives are in no legal responsibility of your actions (unless you are running a criminal activity and they are complicit in that).
Otherwise, you can think of them as a landlord.
Why would the landlord be in problems due to the tenant immigration mess.

So, don’t worry about your relatives and try to fix your current situation. If your relatives want to kick you out due to distrust or whatever… that’s a different story.

Maybe OP's relatives are also living illegally in Canada. And he don't want the authorities to come knocking on their door. Who knows? OP seems abit too concerned.

What did your letter actually say about not travelling to Canada. Working illegally and not following immigration rules will often lead to IRCC not giving you 2nd chances or approvals in general because you don’t have a track record of following immigration rules. As previously said you need to stop working illegally. How fast did you travel after receiving the letter banning you? The system may not have been updated before you travel but you may have no status in Canada at the moment. You can attempt to apply to another school and get another study permit. You can not work until then. Iwould suggest meeting with meeting with an immigration lawyer if you are trying to remain in Canada longterm.
