bank statement from my account or my parent's?

Hi for SDS applicant to provide bank statement, should it be under my name (the applicant) or it can be from my sponsor's (my parent)?
the money is currently in my parent's account, should I just let it stay there and have my parent to write me a letter indicating his willingness to sponsor me? or should I transfer the money to my account and also have my parent to write me an exact same letter?

note: i have paid my 1st year tuition and already acquired GIC, have several years work experience and married
