Hello everyone.

I submitted my application for permanent residency yesterday. And this morning, I just figure out that the bank forgot to put the date of opening of the account into the reference letter (already submitted).

Do you think that this gonna be an issue ? Do you suggest to contact CIC and tell them about the mistake with a new reference letter from the bank ?

Or should I just wait a request for a new reference letter ?

I am worried that they reject my application, or even worst : Reject it after several months of waiting.

Thank you

Hi.
Get a fresh letter from bank with account opening date and raise a web-form to submit the document.

In order to prepare the documents, my previous proof of funds document had 31 pages, do you think I should replace the whole 31 page document with a new one reference letter corrected ? Or upload a pdf of one page showing the new letter ?

31 pages included bank statements, liability letter, current balance letter right?
No need to submit all of it, just the letter with account opening date and write a letter of explanation that you missed it at the time of documents submission.

As I submitted my application the 6th September (that was a thursday night Canadian Time), and I can't manage to get the good paper submitted before the 10th September (will be a tuesday morning there), in which case (or multiple cases) do you think I fit into :

A) They didn't start to have a look into my application yet :
1) They will add the new document and take it into account then start processing.
2) They have a standard procedure in thoses cases like mine and always reject the application and refund the total fees.

B) They already started to have a look into my application :
1) They will add the new document and take it into account then continue processing.
2) They reject the application and refund the fees without processing fees (as they already started).

You submitted the application 2 days ago, nothing to worry just get the new document and upload it ASAP.
Most likely A1

Thanks Fahadkazmi for your help.

I raised a web-form in september 11th, and didn't get any response (not even an automatic response). Should I call them to make sure they received the document and that they included it to my application ?

Note : AOR september 6th and still no update.
