I just found out that because we are sending our application to the London office, we apparently can't pay online. The only way we can do it is by bank draft, right?

I find the instructions for this VERY confusing, perhaps because I've never ordered a bank draft before so perhaps it is just my ignorance.

1. Can I just go to my normal (Danish) bank and ask them to do one? Or does it have to be a specific bank that has branches also in Canada?

2. "You should ensure that the bank draft or money order clearly indicates on its face the name and complete address and/or the transit and account numbers of the financial institution in Canada where it may be cashed".

How on earth do I find that out? Will my bank know these details?

Thank you so much in advance. I am so lost!

1. You can pay by credit card, since you will be sending the sponsorship and the application to Mississauga. (Assuming it is a spousal application) The Mississauga sends the application if the sponsorship is approved to London.
2. Banks know how to process a foreign Demand Draft payable to a Canadian bank.

When my husband went for his medical check, on the form we said we were sending it to the London office. Is this okay??

Also, what do we write on my spouse's "Application for Perm. Residence" when it asks which Visa Office we want to process our application? London or Mississauga?

Thanks for your reply, PMM :)

London is your VISA office. That is the office that will process your husband's PR application.

Mississauga is a Case Processing Centre, NOT a visa office. They only process the sponsor's application and then once that is approved, they forward the application to the overseas visa office that you have selected. You must send your entire application to Mississauga. Go back and check the instructions.

Ohhh, that's why. I thought both were visa offices. I read the instructions MANY times but got confused by the abundance of information on their website which I thought was contradicting.

Thank you, ariell for your time and help :)
