Dear All

I am in the process of making the fee payment by bank draft.

On the Fee form IMM5670 E it says the draft has to be in favour of , "The Receiver General of Canada"

In the guide P700 (page 34) it says the draft has to be in favour of the "Receiver General of Canada"

Which is correct? Please advise.

Although it is just artice "The" difference in the above form and guide, but i have read cases where draft had been returned because it was in favour of Receiver General for Canada, instead "of"

Besides the banks asks for place payable at? How to go about that? What place or will it be Canada?

Your advise will be much appreciated.

I will suggest you use a credit card if you have one, that will save you a lot of trouble and possibly bank charges

I will go with the Form which i am submitting rather than going
with the guide.

Thanks Bukonla and Supertramp

I think i too will go with the form :)

So it will be

The Receiver General for Canada
