Hi! Need your help.
I received an email from the visa office here in Manila last May 1, 2013 requesting for our medical exam and payment for the RPRF. They already received our medical exam results last June 18, 2013 but I don't know yet what happened to my bank draft payment for RPRF. I know that they don't do updates on bank draft payments but I would like to know usually how long would it take for Canadian Embassy in Manila to encash or negotiate bank draft payment for RPRF paid in Canadian dollars addressed to the Receiver General for Canada. I sent my bank draft last May 7, 2013 thru Air21 courier and it was received the next day. However, as I checked from the bank who issued the bank draft (BDO), up to this date, July 24, 2013, my bank draft has not been encashed yet. It's been 2 months & 2 weeks already since I sent the bank draft. Is it true that Canadian dollar payments would take longer time for encashment compared to peso bank draft payments? Please give me an advice on what to do regarding this matter. Do I have to send an email to Canadian Embassy Manila or is it okay to just wait for their update? Thanks!
