I have I Bank Draft from the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), which is drawn in Canada from Scotia Bank. CAD $15,000
I have 2 questions:
1. Should I try to open an account with Scotia Bank, how long would be the clearing time?
2. If there's no Scotia Bank near where I'm staying and Scotia Bank ATM's are not accessible around, then I decide to open an account with TD Bank instead (or perhaps RBC), how long would the clearing time be for my bank draft?
