Bangladesh Police clearance certificate for Citizenship application

Hello,

I am currently living in Canada and recently became eligible to apply for citizenship. So I got my passport and the authorization letter attested by the High Commission and then applied online for the PCC with the documents as per the official guidelines.

Now it's showing 'Application Rejected' and they are asking me to submit ward councilor certificate. None of the government websites mentioned the need for that paper and only asked for the attested passport and authorization letter.

Anyone can help me with any advice on how I can proceed? Thanks in advance

I hope you find a response here but my suggestion would be find Bangladesh specific PCC group on FB to resolve the issue you facing.
I haven't seen Bangladesh PCC questions in this forum before.
