bangalore vfs - passport for COPR

Hi
We sent our passports for visa stamping and COPR by VFS Center in bangalore and after few days the tracking says "Visa application, tracking ID No. XXXXXXXXXX has been received at the NEW DELHI VAC on 2018/12/24 and is on transit to the IRCC Office in NEW DELHI ,for processing."

Its showing the same status since couple of days. Any idea on when the status would change further.

dont worry the status will not give true picture and confuses on the path passports move. But will be fine and will get in few days. I also seen that my wife passport status changed to ready for collection and after a day only mine and my daughters passports are ready for collection.

Thanks. My passport shows " in process at IRCC Delhi " from Mar 18.

It wont change until IRCC deliver passport back to VFS. VFS act as a courier service linking applicants to their respective LVO and hence won't give you a clear picture of where your passport is in the process while being at LVO itself. Once the CoPR is issued , this will trigger an update showing application as ''Approved'' , a day or two after that VFS should have the passport in hand and returning it back to you and that's when you gonna see a change in the VFS tracker
