How long does immigration take to finish processing your background check.???? I sent all my police criminal check and all my background information but why do they take so long to finish this stage since it is also the last stage before they make a final decision.

Most often the delays are not necessarily IRCC. There are other departments and organizations involved, including organizations in your home/ alternate countries. Often these requests for information are slow in coming. There is also the possibility that a deeper investigation hasn’t been triggered due to similarities in your name and information with someone with less than desirable background.
