Background Check?

Hi guys,

So I linked my application to MyCIC this morning, which now gives a tiny bit more information than ECAS did... but here's where I'm a little concerned.

There's a line that just says:

A background check is needed - In Progress

Is this anything I should be concerned about (in terms of long delays)?

The background check is the Security/Criminality checks done by CSIS.

It's normal, and in progress just means it's not complete yet.
