would a traffic ticket for driving without insurance in Canada be grounds for inadmissibility if the ticket was not put on the license as part of the plea deal with the prosecutor. If so would a certificate of pardon or something like that be useful..thanks for your help , keep praying guys we shall overcome some day

Umm, I thought background check was done by CSIS and they don't care about traffic tickets!

Whether checking with RCMP that may have a record of your issue is a part of the background check is something I don't know. Did you submit an RCMP police clearance?

I must mention (and you're probably well aware of this) that driving without insurance is a serious matter in Canada, but I'm not sure how serious it got in your case.

I would speak with an immigration lawyer if I was unsure about its impact on my PR app.

It would have no effect, considered traffic offence.

thanks guys I did follow your advice and was told that this would not have a negative impact on the application.......
