BackGround Check Status

Dear Seniors,

I have doubt about my background check status in my application. I noticed my background status has been changed from "Next step is to conduct Background Check(NBG)" to "Not Applicable".I did the RCMP upfront and uploaded along with my PCC.

Question:
1. What does it mean the background status "Not Applicable?"

I am CEC inland applicant & my AOR is Mar 24 & Medical Passed on Apr 8 since then the status NBG & today status got changed. Is this good sign?I have only travel history between my home country and Canada.

There are many threads already discussing this. People have received PPR while the background check is "not applicable." Others never see the status.
