I have an ITA and I am all set to submit my documentation. I might upload all my documents tomorrow.
I even submitted my OONP application on 16th june. So far i haven't received my AOR. Toady i wrote an email to ontario immigration to inquire about my status.

My problem is that the refence letter i submitted was issued by my immidiate manager without consulting Human Resources but i wasn't aware of that fact. But, recently i was promoted and I replaced my manager's place. I asked for the same letter from human resource with updated position.

The human resouce department got pissed by the fact that i got the letter without their authorization but after lot of grappling they issued me a new letter with my updated position and previous postion letter with a new format.

I had already submitted my previous letter that i got from my manager for OOPNP. But now that i have a pesonalized checklist in Express Entry it is asking me to upload reference letters for both positions (same NOCs).

I have the employment refence letters but i am not sure how to address this issue to immigration. Also would it be a problem if I jsut go ahead and upload new refence letters in express entry profie?
I called my bank and they told me that my draft has been already encashed but i havn't received any response from the ontario immigration.

My fear is if the verifying officer tries to probe in my reference letter it could be a problem for me.
The infornation is pretty much the same what i got on my new refence letter but written in a totally different way.

Also my work permit is about to expire in few months and i need to upload all my documents asap in order to get AOR so that I can apply for BOWP. But unfortunately I am stuck in this situation.

I am not sure how to proceed . Please help.

Given that it is the same NOC and just a job title change with higher roles & responsibilities, you can do 2 things.

1. Remove the previous line item from your work history and have just 1 line item there for both these jobs put together. Mention your latest job title there. The system will prompt you for just 1 reference letter and you can include the latest letter.

2. Continue with both line items and upload both the letter in the respective placeholders.

Either ways shouldn't be a problem. Your NOC didn't change and nothing else is materially different in your application. No reasons to worry here.

But there is a difference in salary. Almost 8K PA.
Also, what kind of questions they ask in background check.

That doesn't matter. Either showcase both of these as different experiences or showcase this as a single employment.

In the unlikely event of CIC calling up your employer, they can ask for anything that is mentioned in the reference letter and any other relevant questions related to your PR application. They will call only if they have reasons to doubt the authenticity of your reference letter.
