I had an interview mid July 2024 (submitted the aplication in Jan 2024), in the interview the office only checked my ID and was nice to tell me that my case looks "great" since then nothing happens. any explanation why is that ? when i call the IRCC they say background and prohibitions are in progress. is that normal ? Thankx

If it's gone for security screening it will take time. You can apply for GCMS notes to check the same.

It happens for unlucky folks, and is relatively common.
Security screening can last a year or more, better be patient...
