Hi,
I would like to hear the opinion of others on these two programs in terms of job prospects in canada after graduation and earning potential. Which would you choose? Both will be 2 yrs in duration for me since i can transfer credit to earn the bachelors in public health in 2 years instead of 4.

Thanks.

But in terms of public health and health information management, do you have any input on which has better prospects?

Thanks.

Impossible to predict years away what any job market would be like but a degree generally always a better qualification than a diploma

There are definitely jobs in HIM, but you can do those with a bachelor's degree as long as you have the skills.

As for public health - that is an umbrella term for a fair of subdisciplines, many of which prefer people who also have a clinical dgree (e.g. nursing). I can say that I always see jobs for people in occupational health and safety. Biostatisticians are rare and sometimes in demand. I sometimes see jobs for epidemiologists. I see openings for public health inspectors, but that is a field in transition, with a relatively new professional certification which only accepts education from a small number of specific programs. Even if you aren't certain which subfield interests you, it is a good degree for many entry-level jobs.

Hi,

Do you know how many points of Canadian education will be granted after 2 years of Bachelors(after degree), 30 0r 15?
