Hi,

I need to know if a baby is born in canada with canadian passport , do we need to inform canadian immigraiton in london for the same. In normal cases, we need to inform them and resubmit medicals for wife/child and extra fees for the processing for the child.

However, since the child has been borne as candaian , does above will apply ?

Medicals for the case RPRF has been paid and waiting for CHC london for final decision/passport visa stamping.

regards
Mac

Hi Mac,

Yes, you have to inform your VO. Send them your child's birth certificate and passport copies with a cover letter stating you have a new addition in your family. As the child is Canadian you need not apply for your child's PR. I did the same with my VO. Hope this info helps.

Thanks Doctor.

But after sending the forms, do i need to wait for them to Resend the Landing papers ?
Does current landing papers will void?

No, the birth of Canadian citizen child doesn't invalidate the COPR. You can still use them.
