I have served my sentence which was house arrest for 1 year. I have also checked in every couple months with my officer. I am officially done doing that. I have to now wait to hear back about when I will have to appear in court to be notified if I will be gettin deported on grounds of obstruction of justice. I am wondering if anyone has any information to share with me and if I will likely be deported? I have been a PR for 15 years and this is the charge that I was found guilty on which I did not go to prison for but was placed on house arrest. Please share your stories about deportation and the reasons for deportation. I have family here and very much love Canada. Please give me your input on what the outcome and possibilities of my hearing could be?
