AVR query _ Automatic Visa Revalidation

Hello,

I am planning to travel to Canada for a week in June 2014.
At present I am on H4 visa with valid I-94 till 09/2015. H4 visa is not stamped in my passport (not traveled outside US since COS from H1 to H4) .
I was on H1B till 06/2013 and have H1B stamp in Passport valid till 09/2015

I read various forum posts regarding AVR and rules on CBP website. But still I am not able to confirm
if it applies to me also. Because all AVR experiences mentioned on forums are regarding expired Visa (old).

Please share, if someone has experience of using AVR on unexpired visa but different H classification.

HI Halibut,

I am little confused here. if you have a valid visa to enter US, why do you need AVR?

AVR is for someone who is in valid visa status/I-94 but don't have valid visa to re-enter USA.
