Automatic extension of PGWP- Special measure program - Still waiting for my work permit extension

Hello Team,

My PGWP expired on December 2022.
I received an letter in email from IRCC stating that I am eligible for automatic work permit extension because my PGWP expiry falls between Oct-Dec 2022

The below is from the IRCC letter that states I will receive the extended work permit automatically:

You are the holder of a post-graduation work permit (PGWP) that expires between October 2, 2022 and December 31, 2022. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) recognizes that the COVID 19 pandemic and the pause on rounds of invitation under Express Entry may have affected your authorization to work in Canada and your ability to receive an invitation to apply in Express Entry in a timely manner. As a result, we will extend the period of work on your existing work permit for an additional 18 months. In most cases, we will mail you a new work permit at your mailing address above

So far I have not received it.
I was able to connect with the IRCC agent, as per IRCC agent there is no active application for my work permit extension in process at the moment and he suggested me to apply for extension myself.
Now I don't know what to do as I am completely lost.

Can someone please suggest me what should I do at the moment:
1. Should I apply for the work permit extension and attach the explanation letter + the letter I received from IRCC stating automatic extension?
2. If Yes to 1 then how I should apply for the extension? Can someone please provide the link as well....

Hey

Everyone were supposed to by apply online by Dec 31st 2022. I did not either and did a late application by the end of January with a letter of explanation. Please get in touch with a consultant asap and try and do a late application. There are lots out there, folks like you and me, who were unaware of the deadline.
The only folks who got the automatic renewal were the ones who had applied for PR under the TR to PR program. Everyone else were supposed to apply online by December 31st 2022.
