Authorization to return to canada (MEXICO)

Anybody knows how long take ARC for processing my visa office is Mexico but I am confused because people says it takes from 9 to 12 months that is truth???

Are you currently applying for sponsorship ? when does your ban end ? What kind of order were you given ? If you were given an departure order and left Canada within the 30 days and verified it CBSA then you do not require an ARC to return, if you did not then your departure order turns into an exclusion order wich requires an ARC. If your one year ban has passed (or will pass through the sponsorship process) and you have the certificate of departure issued from CBSA you also do not require an ARC to return. Also here is another note from CIC webpage:

If you are applying to come to Canada for any reason, (visiting, studying, working or immigrating),you should not submit a separate application for an ARC. If your application is approved, the ARC will be dealt within the context of that application. You will simply be asked to submit the fee.

So on that note if you are applying for sponsorship you need not apply for the ARC. Hope this helps
