Would i be granted an Authorization to enter canada bcz i was deported from Canada after denied refugee claim in 2006? I am a legal permanent resident of the U.S now. I want to visit Canada for a couple of days to see my canadian friends. Is it hard to get the authorization from the minister when applying for "temporary visit"? I dont have any criminal record whatsoever in both countries and i was under 18 when i went to canada to file for refugee. Not sure if being underage at the time of the refugee claim in canada would make it easy to get the authorization to enter canada again. I am currently a college student and have a stable job in the U.S. Not sure if that would help either. I am just making sure if its do-able at all otherwise i'd call my friends and tell them to get their asses here lol bcz i dont want to get thru with the whole canadian immigration fiasco again because it was traumatic enough.
