Hey everyone,

My friend and I arrived in Canada yesterday. Her work permit was yet to be approved and she was under the assumption that she could enter just on a holiday permit then when her working permit was ready she could drive across the boarder to America and re ender Canada with her letter of acceptance. The customs official turned this plan on our heads and gave her until the 2nd of December to leave the Country. We just found out her application was denied due to using the wrong police name check document.

Can anyone please help us. We need to know if she has to start her entire application from scratch and if that could result in having to wait up to the full 8 or so weeks for it to approved again? Or can she just obtain the correct document, add that to her application and hope that it gets approved within a much shorter amount of time? We understand either way that this will slow down the process we just want to know which will be more effective .

Any information regarding this will be really really appreciated,

Thanks for your time.

1. New application is her only choice.
